Stories are written about stories like these. Are we next in line? Are we next in line? I'm next in line. I'll step gently to feel where the floor gives way. We count familiar, broken wings, with reverence. Focus. Persist. Eyes ahead. Factions, show yourselves. (I said show yourselves.) The air is heavy here; make it light. Make it Light. Firm statues are worn thin and turn to dust. "But I have miles to go before I sleep." I've said all that to say this: oh Lord, give me strength.

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.

A "Split" in the truest sense of the word, first two tracks by Shudder a lo-fi two piece noise rock outfit paint a raw picture of life with the two longer songs they've put on this split. Followed by Sectioned, who slam on 5 tracks of their signature style of noise making complete with some surprisingly memorable moments especially on the track repeater.

They can do no wrong. More Perfect is the only song I've ever heard that expresses every single emotion possible. I'm not even going to get into how surreal they are live. tylerjafelice7
